Arsenal legend 'Ian Wright' slams Arsene Wenger and the club

Arsenal slumped to a mortifying 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich last night in what was disputably one of the most disconcerting 45 minutes the Emirates crowd has witnessed.

Following the loss, Arsenal legend, Ian Wright declared that Arsene Wenger’s reign at the club is imploding.

For the seventh season in a row, Arsenal have been knocked out of the round of 16, controvertibly the worst of the lot. Bayern cruised to a 10-2 aggregate score, which will now only integrate fire to the fan protests afore and after the game over Wenger’s future at the club.

Following the match, Ian Wright concluded on BT Sport that Wenger’s time may indeed be up.
He went on to say,

“He looks like a lost man. It just seems to be mounting up. You’ve got the fans, the protests. It’s imploding. You can’t go down to 10 men and not shore it up against a team like Bayern Munich.”

“We’ve lost the tie down to 10 men, we maybe should have brought on a couple of defenders and kept it a little bit more respectable. It’s a sad day because we’ve gone out again at this stage and we’re going through a period in our history which is the worst that I can ever remember.”

“I think with everything that’s going on, in the dressing room, performances, you have to say it will take some monumental effort, some cataclysmic effort for Arsenal to turn it round. It seems like something is coming to an end.”
