Arsenal have drawn up a four-man shortlist should Arsene Wenger decide to leave at the terminus of the season, reports The Mirror’s John Cross.
Arsene Wenger’s position has come under extreme scrutiny since the turn of the year as Arsenal are imploding yet again and seem to be out of the title race already.
The Frenchman is reported to have an offer on the table with Arsenal having no intention of letting him leave, however, Wenger has made it clear that his decision depends on where the Gunners stand at the terminus of the season.
Shall he opt to call it a day, Arsenal have identified Juventus’ Max Allegri, Borrusia Dortmund’s Thomas Tuchel, Bayer Leverkusen’s Roger Schmidt and AS Monaco’s Leonardo Jardim, who knocked Arsenal out of the UEFA Champions League a couple of years ago.
While Allegri and Tuchel’s prosperity with their respective teams is no secret – making them conspicuous culls – Schmidt and Jardim have both been equipollently as good with their management both on and off the field.
