The Croatian forward played a minutely diminutive part in
their Premier League title victory,a feat he does not
cerebrate they are liable to reiterate.
Former Leicester City striker Andrej Kramaric has
claimed that the Foxes will not have a season as
good as their 2015-16 Premier League winning
campaign. Claudio Ranieri's side surprised everyone by going from
5000/1 outsiders to league victors in a
fairytale season, picking up their first ever top-flight
designation. Kramaric was their record signing back in January
2015, but did not pick up a Premier League medal
as he played just two games for the Foxes in his
second campaign at the club, leaving the King
Power Stadium for Hoffenheim on loan.
The Croatia international made that deal perpetual
in May, with his incipient club having an unbeaten start
to the season. Despite that achievement, he cerebrates
things are different at Hoffenheim, and believes
Leicester will not reiterate their successes of
2015-16.
"Hoffenheim compared to my former team
Leicester? There are some similarirtes, but it is
different in England, Leicester was trashing
everyone from start until finish, they will hardly
ever repeat that season," Kramaric told Reporters.
The 25-year-old feels that this season's Bundesliga
is very competitive and that there are numerous
clubs battling for a spot in European competition
next term. Currently third in the Bundesliga,
Hoffenheim are currently the only undefeated team
in the top five leagues in Europe, a feat in which
Kramaric takes great pride.
"Hoffenheim play well but we are only thinking
about next match, and it is Leipzig," Kramaric
continued.
"I can't say Leipzig thrilled me with their
performances so far, but they play very good, have
a young team, full of energy and are biggest
surprise in Europe."
